As the Technology Enablement (TE) Manager, you will be responsible for driving innovation, transformation, and relationship management between Line of Business (LoB) and IT infrastructure, preparing the organization for successful adaptability and change. What you'll do on a typical day: Collaborate with peer organizations and senior leadership on creating the visionary direction and roadmap for business systems integration; gain adoption throughout the enterprise Proactively develop relationships across business units, functional departments, and various levels of leadership to foster synergy across the enterprise between LoB application areas and infrastructure Develop a technology enablement framework that results in a repeatable, lifecycle-driven methodology that provides LoB leadership with a clear understanding of their usage and the performance of infrastructure that enables their business systems; TE framework includes Discovery, Prioritization, Projectization, Assignment, and Communication Develop solutions that will be managed through the technology enablement practice, leveraging the various service departments within the enterprise (infrastructure, shared services, PMO, VMO); allow the TE practice to gain insights into current processes and make recommendations for improvements and governance of integrated corporate practices Participate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives, and formulating a technology enablement vision to drive delivery Leverage cross-disciplinary knowledge (e.g., agile methodology, service management, IT, HR, finance, operations) to drive innovation in technology enablement between LoB and IT Lead infrastructure integrations for mergers and acquisitions What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field 10 years of experience in IT design, implementation, and management including a wide array of infrastructure Experience in leading and managing technology infrastructure organizations Experience working cross-functionally, implementing large-scale processes, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, contingency planning, integrating acquisitions, and risk and issue management Understanding of application development principles, lifecycles, and techniques It'd be great if you also have: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field MCSE, MCDBA, CCN, PMP, ITIL, CISSP certifications 15 years of experience in Information Technology, with 10 years managing a technology infrastructure operation Excellent knowledge of emerging systems, technologies, and concepts, and exceptional planning, project management, and communication skills Advanced ability to support and execute projects in a distributed matrix environment, and managing and delivering upon multiple projects with competing time and resource requirements Be part of something big.
