Job Description : This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced statistical and AI models that support key business initiatives. The individual will translate business and technical requirements into analytical plans, manage projects from concept to execution, and serve as a subject matter expert for complex modeling approaches. Success in this role requires effective communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate across cross?functional teams. Responsibilities Modeling Translate business and technical requirements into structured analytical plans and modeling strategies. Develop complex multivariate statistical models and ensure appropriate assumptions, diagnostics, and performance metrics are applied. Deliver artificial intelligence solutions using prompt engineering or fine?tuning of large foundation models. Independently deliver models in the areas of fraud, complaints, and customer behavior modeling. Coding/Data Write clean, maintainable code that aligns with internal standards and is easy for others to understand and review. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform model design and business decisions. Prepare and structure modeling data in a way that supports reproducible and high?quality statistical and AI modeling. Project/Process Collaborate with managers, peers, business partners, and cross?functional teams to communicate requirements, findings, and implementation guidance. Produce clear, organized, and complete technical documentation. Coordinate with model validation, governance, and compliance partners as needed throughout the model development lifecycle. Skills Technical Statistical Analysis Machine Learning (e.g., Gradient Boosting, Ensemble Methods) Artificial Intelligence (prompt engineering, quantization, fine?tuning of LLMs) Preparation and Structuring of Modeling Data Programming: Python, Bash, SQL, JSON, Linux, vLLM, Triton Model Development and Performance Assessment Domain Fraud Modeling Complaints Modeling Customer Behavior Modeling Professional Business Acumen Innovative Analytical Thinking Problem Solving Oral and Written Communication Technical Documentation Presentation Skills Required Qualifications : Master’s or Doctorate in Statistics or a related quantitative field work experience Five or more years of directly relevant experience in statistical model development, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
