Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a recognized leader in
security solutions, seeks a Training & Development Manager to
enhance and oversee the training initiatives for our diverse range
of security personnel. This pivotal role involves the development,
implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs
that align with our mission to safeguard homes, workplaces, and
communities. The Training & Development Manager will ensure that
our security guards are proficient, responsive, and fully prepared
to meet the challenges of varied security environments through
innovative training strategies and the effective use of resources.
Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that
includes both on-site and virtual training for security personnel.
Work closely with security management and HR teams to identify
training needs based on emerging security threats and industry
standards. Design and update training modules and materials that
reflect the latest in security protocols and technology use. Manage
and certify a team of training specialists and coordinate with
external security training vendors as necessary. Monitor and assess
the effectiveness of training programs through regular feedback and
performance assessments. Ensure compliance with all federal, state,
and local laws concerning security training and staff
qualifications. Manage the training budget effectively, ensuring
resources are utilized efficiently. Stay up-to-date with
developments in training methodology and security technology to
continuously evolve the training curriculum. Profound knowledge of
security operations, technologies, and methodologies Strong
leadership and people management skills Ability to design and
implement effective training and development programs Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills High proficiency in risk
management and assessment Capacity to work under pressure and adapt

(CPP) Certified Security Trainer (CST) is preferred
