Houston, TX SUMMARY The Product Manager is responsible for the
implementation, on-going enhancement, and analysis of retail and
small business deposit products to achieve corporate objectives
within the retail and small business line of business. The manager
will also participate in merger related activities as it relates to
the mapping, operational conversion, training, and client
communication of deposit products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES • Works with product team to research, identify,
and implement appropriate products sales strategies to identify
opportunities for meeting goals. • Coordinates the development of
management reporting. • Creates and conducts product and campaign
training as needed. • Manages revisions to team documents such as
pricing materials, product matrices and others. • Analyzes and
communicates product trends, as assigned, through the use of
dashboards or tracking reports. • Assists in preparing product
management presentations • Assists with various administrative
duties, including the investigation and resolution of
product-related service and quality issues as identified by the
bank or its and customers. • Collaborates with other bank teams
such as Marketing, Training, Operations, Information Technology,
etc. for new products, product enhancements, etc. • Manages
specific ad-hoc projects and initiatives as identified by the
Director of Deposit and Product Management • Performs all other
duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assists with
directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain
personnel in accordance with the organizations policies and
applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring,
and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations;
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
problems. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required
in this position: 1. Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 3-5 years
of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS 1. Microsoft Office suite
