Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives. Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives. Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions. Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables. Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems. Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams.Responsibilities:

• The Technology Business Analyst will require Java coding experience and must be able to speak to internal partners about the Java Development activities.
• Must be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Must be able to create and update XML schemas and define API's.
• The Technology Business Consultant will operate in the middleware business services / web services in a multi-tier environment
• Responsible for analyzing requirements, understanding impacts and creating technical user stories to design/implement requirements.
• Responsible for defining APIs and create/update XML schemas. Familiarity with RAML and/or Swagger
• Responsible for discussing and presenting solution design / impact analysis with scrum team as well as interfacing application teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development / Behavior driven development approaches
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture pattern
• Interaction with offshore team Qualifications:
  • Experience coding in Java.
  • Java technology background.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Have the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Have the ability to create and update XML schemas and define APIs'.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Work experience in middleware business services / web services in a multi-tier environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development / Behavior driven development approaches.
  • Familiarity with Microservices architecture pattern.
