Position: Solution Architect (AWS & Java).

Location: Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite must, may required for 5 days if needed).

Duration: FTE or C2H.

Experience level: 15+ years.

Job Description:

Transform business capabilities into actual solutions by applying relevant best practices, design patterns and Architecture patterns
Create System Architecture, System Context, Systems Catalog, IT Bill Of Materials (BOM)
Build High level solution components, prototypes, framework templates
Perform Market Analysis to determine and suggest Build vs Buy vs Reuse the software in the organization.
Thoroughly understand the technology landscape of the organization, determine and leverage the Cloud Native and Cloud Agnostic Solutions
Conducting an evaluation and governance of the computer system architecture with an emphasis on the design
Analyzing the system throughout the enterprise system
Creating and maintaining or enhancing procedures, processes and designs for a computer system
Ensuring that the application architecture team can deliver system solutions for computer architecture.
Analyze the technologies used within the org and determine ways to improve.
Document and Monitor requirements, detailed specifications needed to institute proposed solutions
Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope

Skills:

Proficient in AWS
Proficient in AWS Design and Solutions Architecture.
Exceptional knowledge in Architecture Patterns such as Microservices Architecture, Domain Driven Architecture etc.---
Experience in designing complex solutions and to end applications
Thorough knowledge of Design patterns in Front-End, Middleware and Backend application
Proficient in designing the UML models
Good understanding of relevant domains in Banking Industry such as Retail Banking, Auto Finance, Investment Banking, Lending, Cards and Payments
Expertise in writing optimal codes, modules and prototypes with one or more programming languages such as Java, Nodejs, Python
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential, enabling easy interpretation and analysis of large volumes of data.
