Job Description:

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, maintain, and test software for the ECR RA team
Collaborate with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment
Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications is needed
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment


Requirements: Proven track record in strong reporting skills working on Tableau and MicroStrategy along with data base skills Oracle/SQL Server/Exadata, performance tuning, ETL processes, Windows and Linux environments
Experience in multiple database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata, Big data. Programming experience on Java, Hadoop / Big Data, Teradata, Hadoop and Netezza
7+ years of programming experience
Hands-on experience in Exadata/Netezza, big data, data analytics, relational databases SQL/PL*SQL programming
Financial services industry experience with background in Wholesale/Retail Credit Risk products
Excellent software design, build, test, and documentation skills


Desired skills: Experience in multiple database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata, Big data
Programming experience on Java, Hadoop / Big Data, Teradata, Hadoop and Netezza experience
Java programming experience with understanding of Hadoop, Autosys, Talend and ETL tools


Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
