Corporation is looking to hire a seasoned Drupal Module Developer
who can help the company extend the features of its public facing
website. The person in this role will support Albemarle's digital
transformation by enhancing the delivery of content to the public
that will directly impact the company's growth.The successful
candidate will possess exceptional problem solving and analytic
skills, a deep understanding of Drupal best practices and SDLC. The
Drupal Module Developer will create custom modules that address
stakeholder requests for new functionality. That person will write
tests and manage test suites (unit/behat) within the Acquia Cloud
Platform.Experience interacting with the Drupal community is
preferred. The position involves evaluation of contributed modules
that may add valuable features to our build.Role Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the business to gather & document requirements. -
Working closely with Web Development team to execute solutions that
are extensible and maintainable. - Design and execute custom
modules conforming to Drupal coding standards using PHP version
8.1. - Manage repository strategy for branching and merging code. -
Setting tasks and development goals based on requirements. -
Executing code deployment. - Configuring automated testing systems.
- Updating Drupal core and contributed modules. - Creating
documentation for code deployment procedures. - Documenting content
creation procedures for business stakeholders.Role Requirements: -
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or
equivalent experience. - 6+ years of previous experience using
Drupal 8 or above. - 6+ years of experience developing with PHP, -
Thorough understanding of Drupal site building best practices
(Views, Content types, configuration management) - Experience with
Acquia Cloud Platform, Cloud IDE, Code Studio, Site Studio -
Proficiency with Drush, bash, MySQL, git, xdebug. - Be able to
provide support and training.
