Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC. Job Role and Responsibility: Support the SWIFT applications and services within the SWIFT Technology Services team. Interact with a wide range of business partners, vendors, and technology teams and perform technical duties to deliver SWIFT solutions. Analyze business requirements, designs, and writing technical specifications to design and redesign technical solutions. Deliver innovative and efficient solutions to technical issues. Support projects and work related tasks, including migration of applications to production. Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Support updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Perform various application software installations, configure changes, and configure plug-in software and monitoring system performance and capacity. Support system and application changes that have direct and indirect impact upon SWIFT Services and forecast system demands. Collaborate with SWIFT Technical support team to recommend expansion and reconfiguration. Create or update documentation related to the activity perform (design document, maintenance procedure, and troubleshoot documents. Communicate changes and upgrades for all customers. Provide technical support on SWIFT services, software products, and data flow. Travel Required: None Required Qualifications : Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related technical field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience. Specific skills required:

• 7 years of experience administering, supporting or engineering SWIFT Applications (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication)
• 5 years of implementing and supporting SWIFT services such as SWIFTNet, FIN, Interact or Fileact
• 3 years of UNIX experience
• Experience with SWIFT messaging interface and SWIFT communication interface
• Experience with Routers, VPN, Firewalls, TCP/IP and TLS
• Experience with shell scripting (bash, korn) and Perl
• Experience with MT and MX message types
• Experience with networking and security concepts, including, networking protocols, interoperation with firewalls and load balancers
