Job Summary and Description:

The Manager, Human Resources Business Partners aligns with Senior Vice Presidents of Research and Development (R&D) to define and develop the organizational business and workforce strategies to improve organization effectiveness, including talent acquisition, training and development, and employee performance.

  • Leads a team of Human Resources Business Partners, Generalists, and Coordinators to deliver Human Resources consulting services to the overall R&D organization.
  • Establishes and implements overall workforce strategy, organizational design, change management and workforce planning to drive business excellence.
  • Leads the overall implementation of talent strategy for R&D to develop a world-class team.
  • Aligns performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation.
  • Champion career development process and recognition initiatives to increase and sustain high level of employee engagement
  • Drives and elevates employee engagement strategies and plans to ensure EPRI is seen as an employer of choice.
  • Ensures HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitors effectiveness through a balanced scorecard.
  • Balances corporate, function, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs to the business unit.
  • Works closely with overall HR team to ensure successful deployment and sustainability of various HR programs.

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
    • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
    • Master's Degree preferred.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • 10+ years of broad Human Resources Experience required.
      • Thorough understanding of employee compensation and benefits programs.
      • Direct employee management, development, and leadership experience.
      • Experience with competency models and feedback systems.
      • Track record of effectively diagnosing, designing, and delivering organization-wide interventions.
      • Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
      • Experience with leadership and 360 feedback coaching.
      • Proven project management skills, including building sponsorship, communications, and stakeholder management.
      • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

        The salary range for this position is $132,850 USD to $179,750 USD annually.

        This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

        This role is eligible to participate in EPRI's annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

        This role is eligible to participate in EPRI's standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).

        EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA). EPRI uses the system to check the work status of new hires by comparing information from the employee's I-9 form against SSA and Department of Homeland Security databases.
