Terra Green is a growing, full-service landscape company that provides a wide array of services such as landscape maintenance, design-build, irrigation, turf and ornamental, as well as landscape enhancements across the Charlotte-metro region. This position is responsible for managing the company's payroll function and will provide support for Human Resources services including benefits, staffing, and employee engagement. The incumbent will be instrumental in helping to enhance the company's culture and employee services. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
    • Organize, input, and process payroll using company's HRIS system (Paylocity) on a biweekly basis
    • Perform maintenance and updates to company's payroll and HRIS system (Paylocity)
    • Respond to all employee-related requests such as wage & employment verifications, deductions, workers comp, etc.
    • Process unemployment and garnishment notifications
    • Year-end reporting
    • Serve as a liaison between the company and benefit vendors
    • Accountable for annual open enrollment process
    • Process employee benefits, including new enrollments and changes in deductions
    • Process all IRA deductions, payments, and changes
    • Assist with recruiting and interview process
    • Assist with the employee onboarding and offboarding process
    • Assist with Employee Recognition programs such as birthdays, work anniversaries, and promotions
    • Assist with the coordination of office events and holiday parties Requirements:
      • 2+ years of experience with payroll and HR services
      • Payroll software experience (Paylocity preferred, but not required)
      • Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred, but not required
      • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, but not required
      • Knowledge of wage and hour laws, as well as state and federal regulations
      • Strong PC skills, including MS applications
