**Primary Purpose:**
The Analyst, Payroll Systems role serves as System Administrator
and SME supporting all Payroll systems (SF/ Kronos/Integrations)
and the payroll processing team. Primarily supporting both weekly
and bi-weekly production payroll and triage/mitigate any
system/integration issues impacting payroll processing and liaison
with internal stakeholders and vendor support if necessary. Provide
support for business process improvements to new and legacy systems
for efficiency and quality within Payroll, Compliance, Onboarding,
Operations, Employee Service Center and Benefits teams. This
position leverages knowledge of industry best practices to document
and maintain proper segregation of controls to comply with
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Key contributor on special projects.
Responsibilities include participating in the research,
development, documentation, and refinement of payroll business
processes. -
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Develop and provide regular and ad hoc reporting to Payroll team,
which includes producing standard payroll reports, creating, and
maintaining accurate exception reporting for the payroll team.

- Operate as Payroll Functional SME partnering with COEs to support
Payroll systems projects (new systems or functionality and
enhancements) which includes planning, business process mapping,
requirements gathering, design, configuration, and implementation.

- Create and maintain payroll test plans, coordinate, and conduct
user acceptance and functional regression testing of new and
enhanced Payroll Systems functionality and reporting tools. -
- Conducting business process re-engineering to identify
opportunities for improvement and making appropriate
recommendations; ensuring processes are optimally aligned and that
they follow industry standards. -
- Create functional process documentation (internal and external).

- Develop process to align Payroll Systems configuration with the
IT infrastructure, data mapping and integration in accordance with
IT change control, information security and compliance standard
operating procedures. -
- Complete configuration, testing and implementation of all
pertinent payroll regulations and policies of all operation units.

- Partner with IT and Global partners in system enhancements,
upgrades and modifications to payroll systems and processes. -
- Responsible for the production process of all payroll runs
including weekly, bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls. -
- Prepare all related file loads/corrections (i.e., incentives, RBS
Kronos, MOTUS, allowances, etc.). -
- Ensure all wage type payment models are up to date. -
- Maintain the payroll systems and manage all related activities to
maintain foundational data and configuration to support all payroll
and compliance activity. -
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Accounting or related field. -
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT, software engineering,
accounting or related field. -
- Familiar with participating in project teams. -
- SME in Payroll systems, the ability to act as conduit between the
business and technology teams. - -
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - -
- Effective written and verbal skills. - - -
- Great attention to detail. - -
- Experience with multi-state payrolls. -
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with SF (ECP) /Kronos preferred, technical experience
a plus. -
