Strategize with senior leadership about HR programs that benefit workplace culture and engagement. Work cross-functionally to perform both administrative and strategic duties of the HR function to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Successful candidates have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, from acquisition to retention and succession management as well as HR compliance and administration expertise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for HR Managing company policies and procedures based on employee and company needs, transforming all policies into executable plans and departmental procedures Serving as the main point of contact for employees--- queries on HR-related topics and all employee relations matters Partnering with Function managers to determine employee needs in the overall talent lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, training, performance management) Developing and executing recruiting strategies and partnerships to deliver a highly qualified and engaged workforce to meet operation and sales projections Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits Developing and executing strategies on compensation, employee engagement, succession planning, and other innovative talent strategies in conjunction with leadership Creating an effective strategy for reporting and monitoring HR metrics and successes Reporting to Back Office Lead and working closely with leadership Requirements: Proven experience as an HR Generalist with PHR certification Expertise in employment/labor laws and general human resource policies and procedures Excellent problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills Detailed, organized, and efficient in daily tasks, with the ability to think outside the box and innovate where possible Self-starter with the ability to work as a team with an analytical and results-driven approach The Whitaker Group is an equal opportunity employer.
