description:Experienced communications professional will join a
major expansion of the Retail and Small Business Banking
communications team. Collaborates with mortgage, direct-to-consumer
lending, and payments business leaders with a focus on external
communications to provide strategic counsel; earned and owned media
campaigns; reputational risk management; teammate communications
and engagement; storytelling; crisis communications, and social
media.

multi-faceted business with more than 23,000 teammates who deliver
caring and distinctive client banking experiences through online
and mobile banking; client journey rooms at the Truist Innovation
and Technology Center in Charlotte; client experience strategy;
consumer lending and payments; small business; corporate marketing;
Premier banking; mortgage; and our 2,100 community banking
branches, 12 contact care centers, and more than 3,000 ATMs across
the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Texas.
**HYBRID Position can be located at our Charlotte Corporate Office
or HUB Locations - Atlanta, Richmond, VA, or Raleigh,
NC.****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and execute internal and external communications
strategy for a business segment.
2. Develop proactive public relations to obtain positive media
mentions on Truist products, services and purpose; leadership
message development; spokesperson training; issues management; and
internal communications at the segment level.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for line of business and
function leaders.
4. Provide communications counsel to lines of business on product
introductions and certain client-facing messages.
5. Counsel social media team on key issues.
6. Maintain Corporate Communications policy.
7. Plan content/messaging and graphics/videos for town halls,
conferences, speaking engagements and events.
8. Provides formal or informal leadership to others and serves as a
resource on complex solutions.
9. Drives the achievement of client, operational, project, service,
and risk management objectives.
10. Create positive news to build the company's brand, advance our
purpose, and promote our solutions and services.
11. Forge relationships with business leaders to gain knowledge,
align communications objectives and goals with the business, and
serve as a trusted consultative partner.QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related
training
2. 7-10 years of progressive and related experience
3. Proven leader and demonstrated team player with excellent
interpersonal, negotiation, listening and management skills;
ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the
organization and counsel, negotiate, influence and inspire
4. Proven project management ability including managing the
conceptualization and execution of multiple large, complex projects
along with capability to make rational decisions under pressure
5. Strong, well-rounded communications skills including
writing/editing, project management, publicity, and news
judgment
6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational,
and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives
and priorities
7. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an
understanding of the market and regulatory factors that affect our

1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or English
2. Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency
