Pulmonologist opening in Charlotte, NCFull-Time PositionA well-established cancer institute in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pulmonologist to join its multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology team . This is a full-time, outpatient-focused role supporting the evaluation and diagnostic workup of patients with suspected lung cancer.Position Highlights: Full-time, Monday Friday schedule (clinic + bronchoscopy) No weekend, holiday, or ICU/pulmonary call responsibilities Work closely with a dedicated team including nurse navigators, oncologists, thoracic surgeons, and radiologists Multidisciplinary, team-based approach in a highly specialized cancer care settingCandidate Requirements: Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary Disease or Critical Care Medicine Passion for thoracic oncology and collaborative careResponsibilities: Evaluate and manage adult patients (18+) in a thoracic oncology clinic setting Participate in coordinated care planning for patients with suspected or confirmed lung cancersBenefits & Compensation: Competitive salary with a two-year guarantee Comprehensive medical, retirement, and malpractice coverage Paid leave and CME allowance Relocation assistance Emphasis on work-life balanceAbout the Program:The thoracic oncology division is part of a larger cancer institute featuring over 100 specialists across 30+ locations statewide.
