Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo
Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with dual certification
(RDCS/RCS and RVT) and at least 2 years of experience in TTE and
comprehensive vascular studies for an outpatient medical pavilion
setting. Details - Outpatient medical pavilion setting in an echo
and cardiac sonography unit - Daily caseload of 10–12 studies per
technologist - Cases include TTE and vascular studies such as LEVs,
LEAs, ABIs, carotids, UEAs, UEVs, and groin duplex (pseudoaneurysm)
- Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, approximately 36
hours per week - No on-call or weekend requirements - No floating
between service lines or sister facilities - Epic EMR; experience
preferred - 13-week contract Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of
experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Dual
certification required: RDCS or RCS and RVT; CCI certification also
accepted - BLS (AHA only) required - Demonstrated experience with
TTE and comprehensive vascular studies including LEVs, LEAs, ABIs,
carotids, UEAs, UEVs, and groin duplex (pseudoaneurysm) - SC
license required if applicable - SSN and driver's license required
for consideration - 2 professional supervisory references from
within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional
Information - First-time travelers are accepted for this position,
depending on qualifications - Candidates living within 60 miles of
the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are
prioritized - Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case
basis - Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC facility must
have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before
being eligible to return as a traveler - All requested time off
(RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is
based on facility needs - Orientation modules are completed prior
to the assignment start date - Navy blue scrubs required - No
parking cost - Travelers should be aware that during hurricane
season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned
to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and
