Occupational Therapist Opportunity Greenville County Schools, South Carolina A maternity leave contract position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to serve students within Greenville County Schools. This role is based primarily in Simpsonville, SC, covering several elementary and middle school locations. The assignment runs approximately from April 9th, 2026 to May 22nd, 2026, with flexibility for full-time or part-time hours. Location and Work Details: - Primary locations include Pelham Road Elementary, East North Street Academy, and Greenville Academy in Greenville, SC - Full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week preferred, part-time considered - Caseload includes approximately 70 students, mostly at Pelham Road Elementary, with some middle schoolers at Greenville Academy - One day per week at East North Street Academy for supervising a COTA; supervision support available if preferred Key Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in an educational setting - Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student development and success - Supervise junior therapy staff as needed to ensure quality care Desired Qualifications: - Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license required - Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy highly preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits: - Gain valuable school-based therapy experience in a supportive contract role - Opportunity to impact the educational success of students across multiple grade levels - Flexible scheduling options accommodating full- or part-time availability This short-term contract is a great fit for an OT with school experience seeking meaningful work in Greenville County.
