Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: Must have circulating and scrubbing experience. Candidates need strong experience in at least two of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and must not be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could result in a cancellation. Must be able to scrub and circulate in the operating room. Candidate must possess recent acute operating room experience, not having been out for more than six months. Management experience is not considered. Required traveler experience is essential. Local candidates are accepted. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital based on their skill sets and the current census. No call requirements for the position. Unit is expected to handle approximately 45 cases daily in 17 rooms. The unit's specialties are prioritized as follows: 1st - Neuro and Neuro Spine 2nd - Ortho and Ortho Spine 3rd - Vascular 4th - Robotics 5th - Urology 6th - Podiatry 7th - Oncology GYN 8th - Miscellaneous procedures including General, ENT, and Plastics. All candidates should be prepared to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. The position requires a commitment to the unit's operational needs. Candidates must be able to complete necessary tests within the stipulated timeline after signing. References from recent employment are preferred at the time of submission. The position does not accommodate requests for time off during the first week of assignment due to orientation. It is expected that all candidates are ready to comply with department standards upon hire. Candidates may need to float to other units as required.
