working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years, with
at least 1 year of direct MedSurg experience. License: Active
nursing license required. Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS, ACLS
(preferred, not required). Must-Have: Must have 2 successful travel
contracts; first-time travelers will not be accepted. Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO
could result in cancellation. Required skills include IV start,
telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of
dysrhythmias. Experience in Med/Surg neuro is required. The unit
will accept contracts for 13 weeks. Staffing ratios are 1:6.
Travelers are required to work every other weekend. Frequent
floating may be required to other Med/Surg areas. Unit cares
primarily for stroke patients, as well as neurosurgery and other
neuro diagnoses. Special procedures include a 4-bed epilepsy
monitoring unit. Unit systems include EPIC and PYXIS. Travelers
must be comfortable floating with no restrictions. Candidates must
have a minimum of 1 year of past Med Surg experience. Candidates
must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Travel pairs are allowed but
must work on different units. References are required at the time
of start. Two manager/supervisor references from the past 12 months
are highly preferred. Candidates must complete all required modules
prior to start. Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days
or more than 60 hours in a week. Scrubs are not provided; navy
scrubs are required. Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this
