working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Charlotte, North Carolina, 28207! Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele

Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36
Experience: Minimum of 18 months MedSurg/Tele RN experience
License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: General Med/Tele skillset including: -
Stroke experience - Cardiac rhythm interpretation - Trach care -
Peripheral IV starts - Chest tube management - Nasogastric tube
placement - Drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP
drains, foley insertion/management, etc.) - PCA pump medication
management including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products,
intravenous fluids Description: This position involves working in a
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting. You will be assigned a home
unit on the first day of orientation. Patient types include End
Stage Renal, peritoneal dialysis, fluid overload, sickle cell
disease, diabetes mellitus, altered mental status, cellulitis,
diabetic ulcers, pancreatitis, and behavioral health issues.
Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6, with a possible increase to
1:7-8 during critical surge periods. Support within the department
includes patient care assistants, receptionists, and unit charge
nurses. Nursing staff may float to various units within the
institution as needed. Floating may occur within the region,
requiring adaptability to different patient care settings.
Orientation to the facility and department will be provided for new
staff members. You will work on a rotating schedule that includes
every other weekend and 75% of holidays. Requests for time off will
be considered, with the understanding that contracted hours must be
