Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Matthews,
North Carolina, 28104! Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery,
Postpartum (LDRP) experience License: RN License Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: Experience with all
aspects of LDRP patient care Circulating C-sections experience
Experience with newborn care, including heel sticks, 24-hour
testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support Skills in
decontamination/sterilization, sterile technique, and assisting
with vaginal and cesarean delivery Description: We are seeking an
experienced Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum. The
successful candidate will work a 12-hour night shift. The unit
consists of 8 licensed beds. The average census on the unit is
typically 8 patients. Patient ratios will follow established
guidelines. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care
to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
stages. Expectations include circulating during C-sections and
caring for newborns immediately following delivery. You will also
provide support for lactation and newborn assessments.
Collaboration with a team that includes CNA support and charge
nurses will be integral to the role. The facility utilizes
electronic medical records (EMR) with specific technology and
equipment for patient monitoring and medication dispensing.
Floating to other facilities within the region may be required
based on patient needs. Scheduling includes every other weekend
rotation and holiday shifts, with an expectation of working 75% of
holidays. Time-off requests are permitted up to 6 days, excluding
holidays. Scrubs are required in designated colors, with
hospital-issued scrubs provided during shifts. 5 Benefits of Travel
