Radiation Therapist Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,637 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 3-4 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist License: BLS, ARRT-T Certifications: National Certification Must-Have: Must be comfortable with inpatient population Must be proficient in the use of Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators Familiarity with Aria encounters is strongly preferred Must be willing to float to sister facilities Description: The Radiation Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment. The department typically sees 70 patients per day. Two Varian Truebeam treatment machines are utilized, with 35-40 patients per machine. The patient population includes all types of cancer, both inpatient and outpatient. Travelers will not routinely work in CT Sim. Leadership support is provided by an on-site manager. Normally, 6-7 Radiation Therapists work per shift, with 3 therapists assigned per machine. The department utilizes the EMR systems EPIC and Aria.
