Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Mcleansville, NC Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,218 to $1,418 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Mcleansville, NC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program. Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or may be required by client. (Client may accept current BLS on file.) Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated competency in common SNF therapies: gait training, transfers, balance and fall prevention, therapeutic exercise, and use of mobility devices preferred. Ability to follow plan of care established by a licensed Physical Therapist and document per facility and regulatory requirements. Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy required. Reliable professional communication and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift days: M-F.
