Description American Traveler is seeking an EP Technologist with a
minimum of 2 years of EP experience for a travel contract in a
cardiac catheterization laboratory setting in Charlotte, NC.
Details - Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory with 1
dedicated EP lab (expanding to 2 by end of 2026) - Adult-only
patient population averaging 4–5 EP cases per day - EP cases
include Electrophysiology Studies (EPS), catheter ablations (Pulsed
Field Ablation, Radiofrequency Ablation, and Cryoablation),
generator changes, cardioversions, pacemaker/defibrillator
implants, Bi-V implants, and leadless devices (Micra and Aveir) -
4-person teams per case - 10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 40
hours per week - No floating requirements - No on-call or weekend
rotation required - EMR: Epic (experience required) Requirements -
Minimum of 2 years of EP experience - Current BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT-R, RCIS, or RCES certification required - Experience
scrubbing, monitoring, and running EP cases; must be able to scrub
and pan simultaneously - Active license required, if applicable - A
professional reference dated within the past year from a
Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN is required for
consideration - Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth
required for consideration - Candidates must reside more than 50
miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Candidates who have
worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must be separated
for at least 1 year before being eligible - Facility is a Chest
Pain Center and Stroke Center; not trauma designated (337 beds) -
Department support includes a Charge RN, supervisor on-site 4
days/week, a dedicated case scheduler, and Rapid Response, RRT, and
Hospitalist teams available 24/7 - Equipment includes Alaris IV
pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Cardiolab for mapping cases,
and Merge for hemodynamics; vendor reps assist with select cases -
Orientation includes facility new employee orientation (NEO)
followed by unit-specific orientation through the remainder of the
first week - Scrubs are provided - Parking is free American
