Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers the opportunity to support students across a district-wide setting, serving children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located in Irmo, SC, this contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about applying their expertise in school-based occupational therapy to help students enhance their functional abilities and achieve their academic and developmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing a variety of needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Conduct assessments and document progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Support students within classroom and clinical settings to promote independence and participation in school activities. Participate in district-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and therapy practices. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials appropriate for school-based practice. Experience working in educational settings, preferably across multiple grade levels from K-12. Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and strategies. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a district-wide framework.
