Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist Location: Seneca, South Carolina Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (3x12s) Schedule Shift: Day Shift Schedule: 3 shifts per week (Weekends) Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Shift Times: Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM Block Scheduling: Not Available Call: Required (rotated with 3–4 technologists) Position Summary A healthcare facility in Seneca, SC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports weekend imaging coverage and requires strong technical expertise, flexibility, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care environment. Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols Ensure patient and staff safety by following MRI safety standards and screening procedures Operate MRI equipment and evaluate image quality Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Administer contrast agents per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions Document all procedures accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system Utilize Omnicell medication dispensing systems as required Perform routine equipment quality assurance and safety checks Float to other units or campuses as needed, within demonstrated competencies Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications Active ARRT (MR) certification BLS certification Minimum 2 years of MRI experience Minimum 1 year of EPIC documentation experience Ability to take call and work weekend schedules Strong communication skills and attention to detail For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
