working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Burlington,
North Carolina, 27215! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

experience Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:5 Interpretation
and management of dysrhythmias Telemetry monitoring experience
Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization Management of
cardiac and vasoactive drips Description: This position requires a
registered nurse with cardiac progressive care unit experience.
Candidates should be comfortable working night shifts and managing
patient care for 12 hours at a time. The focus will be on patients
with cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure, acute
coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias. Nurses will also address
respiratory issues, including COPD and pneumonia. The
patient-to-nurse ratio will typically be 1:5, and candidates should
be able to handle high patient acuity. Staff are responsible for
using telemetry monitoring and managing various interventions.
Skills in procedural sedation administration and tracheostomy
management are important. Interdisciplinary support will be
available, and nurses will be assigned shifts based on departmental
needs. Candidates must pass a required EKG exam and be prepared for
ongoing education on procedures and systems used in the unit. A
commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential in this role.
