Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Highlands, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Highlands, North Carolina, 28741! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI Preferred Must-Have: Experience in care of geriatric patients or past inpatient rehab experience with swing bed patients. Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in a telemetry unit. The unit consists of 24 beds with patient ratios of 6 to 7 patients per nurse. There is no unit secretary or technician available when there is no tech present. Standard medical-surgical equipment will be utilized. Documentation will be done using the Cerner system. Staff are expected to work three 12-hour shifts per week. Floating to other units is rare. The patient population is from an affluent community, and concierge service is expected. There is a strong team culture on the unit. Vacancies exist due to recruitment challenges in the region, not because of unit disarray. Candidates should be aware that excellent teamwork and culture are a hallmark of this unit. Minor procedures such as wound care are performed on the unit.
