Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated SLP Therapy Team Leader to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. This leadership role is instrumental in overseeing the speech-language pathology services, ensuring delivery of the highest standards of care and compliance with all regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in clinical speech therapy, outstanding communication skills, and a strong leadership background to guide and mentor a team of speech therapists. Oversee the daily operations of the speech therapy department. Mentor and train new and existing speech-language pathology staff. Develop and implement therapy programs and initiatives that enhance patient care. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Conduct performance evaluations and manage team development. Optimize patient outcomes through effective leadership and innovative practices. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expert knowledge in speech-language pathology Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to train and develop others Proficient in documentation and healthcare compliance Problem-solving and analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
