Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities /n• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment /n• Submit and transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation /n• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams /n• Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images /n• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to cardiologists for interpretation /n• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol /n• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management /n• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment /n• On-call responsibilities discussed at interview /n• Weekend work based on case load and may constitute overtime if needed /n• Physical demands include pushing/pulling 50-100 lbs with equipment 16-24 times per day /n• Required certifications: ARRT /n• Active driver's license required /n• Must communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide and is known for providing excellent working environments with developmental training opportunities.
