Job Description Medi Home Care, a division of Medical Services
of America Inc., is currently seeking an experienced PAP Technician
for our HME patients in Irmo, SC covering Lexington and Richland
counties. What You’ll Do: Set-up of respiratory equipment for home
care patients in office and in the home, coordinating with the CSR
and site manager. Utilizes and maximizes time when scheduling
visits; assures visits are geographically coordinated for minimum
travel time. Maintains written documentation on each setup or
routine home visit and makes sure visits are performed in a timely
manner as required by company policy Maintains records on each
patient, listing the patient’s name, address, telephone number,
physician and other pertinent information. Notifies Intake
Coordinator of supply needs. Maintains supplies in an orderly
fashion. Consults with manager/physician regarding equipment
application or home environment problems. Completes home follow-up
reports accurately and with the required patient signatures
obtained on all necessary paperwork. Able to demonstrate an
effective teaching ability in training patients on how to use the
equipment. Exhibits a positive, professional attitude in dealing
with patients on how to use the equipment. Contributes to team
effort by accomplishing related results as needed. What You Bring:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Prior experience in a medical office or with medical equipment
(required) Minimum of one year of home care experience. Inventory
