working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Columbia,
Missouri, 65212! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Pediatric ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric ICU
License: Compact or State License required Certifications: BLS,
PALS Must-Have: 2 years of overall nursing experience 2 years of
Pediatric ICU experience Description: Seeking a registered nurse to
work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. General Pediatric ICU
experience is required. PALS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
TNCC certification is appreciated but not required. The working
schedule will align with the needs of the unit. Candidates are open
to working either 48 hours or 36 hours per week. Essential
functions include the ability to work the entire engagement period.
Willingness to work the majority of assigned shifts is required.
Candidates must be able to work weekends and at least 50% of
holidays during the contract. Patient age groups will include
adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients. The PICU has a total
capacity of 16 patients when needed. Common patient diagnoses may
include respiratory illness, sepsis, postoperative patients,
hematology oncology, and renal transplant. The ability to perform
essential nursing skills is necessary. Experience with charting
systems is preferred. Candidates may be required to float to other
