Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years required License: State License required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Minimum of 5 years of experience required - Unit will not accept first-time travelers unless they have a high-level accurate skill set - Required skills in emergency department, NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a cancel and DNR. No block scheduling. It is essential to have experience in NICU and PICU. The role includes the management of complex airway devices and suctioning techniques. Familiarity with medication administration for respiratory conditions is required. Candidates should be skilled in monitoring and managing ventilator patients, including troubleshooting alarms. Experience with equipment and procedures specific to neonatal and pediatric patients is necessary. Professional knowledge includes ABG interpretation and chest physiotherapy techniques. The role may involve care for patients with aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, or pneumonia. Education on medication delivery systems, nebulizer skills, and oxygen therapy techniques is essential. Floating between pediatric units and floors may be required based on needs. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing workloads and patient needs. Weekend shifts may be required on a rotating basis. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is critical. References from recent employers are preferred upon request.
