ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00/Yearly. Summary:
The Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist conducts comprehensive
sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. This role
involves monitoring patients during overnight and daytime sleep
studies, collecting and analyzing physiological data, ensuring
patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with sleep physicians
to deliver high-quality diagnostic results. Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and
applying electrodes and monitoring equipment. Monitor and record
physiological data including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory
effort, airflow, oxygen saturation, and body position. Recognize
and respond to sleep-related events, respiratory distress, and
cardiac abnormalities. Initiate and adjust PAP therapy per protocol
and physician orders. Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical
issues during studies. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year
experience Required, RPSGT or RRT With Sleep Disorders Specialist
(SDS) Required, Epic experience Required, BLS Certification, RPSGT.
