Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,125 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: RRT and NC license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Experience with neonates and pediatrics Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly result in a cancellation. RRT and NC license must be in hand. Experience with neonates and pediatrics is required. It is preferable for the Respiratory Therapist to have NICU, PICU, Peds, and Peds ED experience. The unit is willing to accept first-time travelers. Local candidates accepted with a rate difference. Required skills include pediatrics, community hospital experience, pediatric ED, airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP. Preferred skills include Labor and Delivery experience. The unit requires floating as needed. Call requirements involve being on call as needed; this includes three on-call shifts per six-week period. The daily census will include neonates, infants, and pediatrics. The unit will see approximately 10-15 patients daily. Fifty to sixty percent of cases will involve NICU and PICU. The ability to work in NICU and PICU is required for this role as a respiratory therapist. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other areas based on skill sets and census without restrictions. References from recent supervisors are highly preferred upon submission. Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units. Candidates must not work more than five days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week. They must complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually. Modules will vary based on the specialty and may involve online learning, Zoom, webinars, and in-person classes.
