Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,/n distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. /n Travel PICU RN's are needed for 13 weeks in a Hospital located in North Carolina. 3 - 12's per week. Ideal Candidates must have peds CVICU skills / competencies. Certifications required are BCLS, PALS (ACLS desired but not required.) CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A LEVEL I TRAUMA CENTER. Candidate must be able to care for patients on mechanical ventilation and receiving inotropic drips. Experience in broad PICU medical / surgical diagnoses variety / care of the critically ill or injured pediatric patient age 0-18 years generally. Monitoring lines: arterial / central venous / rare Swan Ganz. Level I trauma experience including intracranial pressure monitoring, bladder pressures, fluid warmer use, etc. Chest tubes, Peritoneal dialysis, ECMO. RN Must wear black or white scrub pants with any color or pattern scrub top and jacket. This is one of the most popular states to travel in with lots of things to do and beautiful scenery.
