Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse - ICU - PRN Overview: This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a PRN (as-needed) basis at our facility. The nurse will deliver patient care, collaborate with various departments, and uphold patient confidentiality in a high-pressure setting. Essential qualifications include a valid nursing license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the capability to handle physically demanding tasks. Discover your purpose with us! You will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and coordinate patient care alongside other departments. In our ICU/TCU team, you will operate within a vibrant, fast-paced 19-bed unit, which includes a 13-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (step-down). Our strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and dedication to exceptional patient care creates an ideal setting for both seasoned nurses and new graduates. Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice or a compact license, meeting all state board requirements. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required. Additional unit-specific certifications as necessary. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
