Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - Neonatal ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of strong Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Comfortable in a high acuity, fast-paced environment EPIC experience Management of critical care vasoactive drip titration Management of invasive lines (ART lines/CVP) Aseptic and sterile techniques Ventilator and trach management Description: We are seeking an experienced RN for our Neonatal ICU. The facility has 247 licensed beds, providing Level 1 pediatric trauma care, and is known as a teaching hospital. The unit consists of 53 beds plus overflow, with an average patient census of 58. The patient types include respiratory distress syndrome, congenital heart defects, seizures, and more. Patient ratios vary based on acuity, ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. Support within the department includes a unit secretary every shift and a charge nurse available 24/7. There is an IV/VAT/PCVC team, respiratory therapists, intensivists, residents, and an in-house advanced practice provider available around the clock. Unit-based educators and clinical supervisors are also part of the support team. The technology and equipment used in the unit include EMR systems, IV pumps, monitors, and specialized infant care equipment. Scheduling requires weekend rotation with specific days and holiday expectations outlined. Travelers will be expected to work holidays and will have the opportunity to float to similar units as needed. The schedule is based on unit needs and will be organized every six weeks.
