Electrophysiologist to join the faculty at Atrium Health Carolinas
Medical Center, focusing on advanced cardiac electrophysiology
procedures and clinical care. The role involves procedural work in
an EP lab, outpatient clinic duties, contributing to clinical
research, and collaborating within a large cardiovascular

experiential learning). Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute , a part
of Atrium Health, is currently seeking a
board-eligible/board-certified Electrophysiologist to join the
existing faculty at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in
Charlotte, NC. Ideal Candidates Will Be: Board-certified or
board-eligible in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology
Interested in busy procedural and outpatient practice in a growing
hospital with a new hospital tower being built. Competent in a
variety of procedural skills, including complex ablations and a
variety of device implants. Seeking a clinical opportunity in an
academically minded practice using the latest cutting-edge
equipment and having clinical research interest. About the Practice
& Position: Consists of 14 EP physicians and 17 EP APPs across 3
primary hospitals in the Charlotte metro region; our expert EP
trained APPs serve as partners for our clinic follow-ups, hospital
consults, and procedural work. Physician call rotation includes 1:6
weekend coverage Schedule includes approximately 3 days per week in
the EP lab doing procedures and 1-2 days per week in clinic. This
physician will primarily practice at the 1,000 bed Carolinas
Medical Center hospital. Most physicians in the group have a
monthly outreach clinic. About SHVI: Sanger Heart & Vascular

advanced EP procedures are performed at SHVI including epicardial
VT ablation, external beam radiation VT ablation, complex lead
