ID: 74994203 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Description: RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / Years of Experience: 2 years to be comfortable working on this unit, as it can be challenging for less experience. Prefers 3 years.Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers. We care for under 16 weeks high risk patients too on our high risk maternity unit. The Birthing Care Unit has an obstetrical triage unit to allow for screening of patients prior to admission and to perform routine outpatient procedures such as antenatal fetal surveillance, intravenous hydration, and medication administration. Scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean Births and rescue cervical cerclage are performed.SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit VERY FAST PACED, busier and higher acuity than might be normally expected. May not be realistic for nurses to take 48hr contracts on this unit due to how busy it is. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH >300 BIRTHS PER MONTHDouble labor assignments are a daily occurrence on the Unit Special Equipment : MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH >300 BIRTHS PER MONTHOCT - REQUIREDInfact/Neonatal Arrest - REQUIRED Tier2 Travel Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours.
