Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203! Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU nursing License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience is required General cardiac skillset is essential Experience with TR bands is a must Experience with femoral sheaths preferred Description: The position entails working in a cardiac intermediate care unit. The unit has 19 beds and serves cardiac post-procedural patients. It typically admits 8-10 post-procedural patients per day. Common procedures include TAVR, STEMI, angioplasty, and stenting. The unit will pilot an expansion to increase to 23 beds overnight. Patient ratios are 1:3-4 during the day and 1:4-5 during the night. There are 2 CNAs per shift, with no CNA in the PACU space. Nurses are responsible for reading monitors and responding to telemetry alarms. Primary responsibilities include managing cardiac drips and patient care tasks.
