Job Description:
Salisbury VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Allergist to
join our team as a section chief. We are looking for candidates
interested in treating a veteran population with diverse and
complicated allergic/immunologic conditions in an interdisciplinary
environment. This position will oversee operations at three sites:
Salisbury, Kernersville, and Charlotte, North Carolina. The role
involves clinically and administratively directing and supervising
the clinical allergist staff to ensure high-quality care is
delivered in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Discover a

Monday-Friday 08:00AM-4:30PM Call Schedule: None Academic
Affiliation : SBY VAMC has affiliations with Wake Forest University
School of Medicine/Baptist Medical Center and the Edward Via
College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech University.
Benefits Salary: $285,000-$295,000 Pay: Competitive salary, annual
performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55
days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave,
13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and
possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional
federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in

into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from
any U.S. State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year

significant restrictions on moonlighting Requirements U.S.
Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is
impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA
Policy. Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent
degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and
unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or
Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core
specialty. Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified
or board-eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
