Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28262 130 Licensed Beds Stroke Center Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Unit Information: See ~1500 patients per year. 29 beds 1 OR suite Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of LDRP exp Will you accept a first-time traveler? No Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: LDRP common high-risk diagnoses seen: PPH, Diabetics requiring insulin gtts, PROM, placenta previa, etc. GYN surgical commonly seen: hysterectomy Patient Ratios: RN: Acuity based CNA: 1-3 per shift, 1 is usually a ST Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Required NCC-EFM or RNC-OB preferred. Skills required: Must have the skillset to work LDRP RN: Experience with the all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr testing, NAS scoring, lactation support Support within the Department: OB Tech 1 per shift CAN/ST 1-3 per shift Receptionist/HUC patient registration, visitor mgmt. and unit secretary duties Charge nurse Case Manager RT 24/7 Hospitalist or OB Physician, 24/7 OB Physicians 2 OB practices Pediatrician Lactation Consultants No remote Tele Monitoring Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips GE Corometrics Fetal Monitors; GE Panda Warmer Floating: Within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice DECLINE if not agreeable Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Scheduling: RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color: Navy Blue scrubs or business casual to/from work; hospital issued scrubs while at work Parking: Free ;InterviewRequired=False;WinterPlanNeed=No;
