Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/27/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Qualifications: - SHOULD bring/have your own STETHOSCOPE - 2 Years Minimum Experience Required - Prefer oncology clinic experience. Will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience. - Clinic WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers - Locals are ACCEPTED - REQUIRED Certs: BCLS REQUIRED Skills: - Nurses in the clinic room patients, perform phlebotomy, central line care, assist with bone marrow biopsies, vaccinations, EKG, phone triage, facilitate patients to be scheduled appropriately for infusions, patient education/phone calls, and case management. - May be working with both the malignant and non-malignant hematology teams. PREFERRED Skills: - Chemotherapy and infusions are NOT done in this setting. We do not administer chemo or infusions in the clinic. - PREFERRED Certs: ONS, BMTCN, OCN JOB DETAILS: - SHIFT: 5x8 Hours (M - F 8a - 5:00p) - Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00 - 13 Weeks - Float Requirement: NONE. - Weekend Requirement: NONE. - PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Adult hematology patient population - both malignant and benign hematology only - SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Bone Marrow biopsies, manual diffs, triage, phlebotomy, central line access, patient education, patient assessment - Manual diffs are done by lab personnel not RNs; case management - PATIENT GROUPS: Adults - needs EPIC Dimensions ambulatory clinic supervised access (ED00005) and NHMG/Oncology clinical orientation (not inpatient/acute orientation); will need API access to clock in and out UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC SCRUBS: Not provided.
