Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/12/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with GE and Siemens scanners for a fast-paced emergency department weekend night shift assignment. Responsibilities - Work in an inpatient emergency department setting with some trauma and Code Stroke cases - Weekend night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 19:45 to 08:15 - No call or floating required for this assignment - Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms - Handles a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics - Procedures performed include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction - Primary equipment includes Siemens (S3000, Sequoia) and GE scanners - EMR systems used are Epic and Visage - Scrub color is royal blue - This is a very fast-paced environment with high patient volume in the ED - No weekend RTO allowed; RTO after booking is not permitted - Must be fully available for orientation; missing any portion may delay or cancel the assignment - Royal blue scrubs required - Assignment length is 13 weeks, with the option for 36-hour work weeks - Two technologists typically cover weekend night shifts - Candidates with a permanent address under 50 miles will be offered at a local rate - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays and no RTO during the first week - Rehire approval is needed for former staff within the past 12 months Requirements - Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist - Current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications required - Proficiency with both GE and Siemens scanners is mandatory - Experience with inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings is required - CT procedure experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction required - Epic and Visage experience preferred - Open to first-time travelers - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625193.
