Hospital Employed ED Position w/ private non profit-McLeod Health in Historic Cheraw, SC 1 hour from Charlotte, NC Join an award winning emergency medical team in their new state of the art 23 bed emergency department. 12 hour shift 7a-7p,7p-7a. This employed position offers paid malpractice, CME allowance, signing bonus, relocation allowance, great shift pay (quality incentives available) and a comprehensive health and retirement benefit package. McLeod Health Cheraw This 59 bed community hospital provides the community an expanding list of emergency medicine, family, cardiac, women’s, surgical, orthopedic and other ancillary services. They are in the process of building a brand new, state of the art 22 bed Emergency Department. Some of the top ED nurses and staff in our system are at this location. We are looking for a passionate community driven physician with EM training. The Chief of Staff of McLeod Health Cheraw is our lead ED physician; the ED is a TOP focus at the hospital and in this community. Cheraw is a charming, historic, rural town located about an hour from Charlotte and 40 minutes from the main McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. The mild climate allows for plenty of outdoor activities in the Cheraw State park which boasts walking trails, water sports on lake Juniper, camping grounds and excellent golf courses .
