Schedule Night shifts: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Job Description The Labor and Delivery Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to obstetrical patients in a busy and fast-paced environment. The unit handles high-volume births and is equipped to manage both intrapartum and high-risk antepartum and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery, with the ability to thrive in a high-acuity setting. Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater. - Manage high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients. - Perform sterile vaginal exams and circulate during C-sections. - Conduct antepartum care and procedures including administering IV therapy. - Triage obstetrical patients and perform routine outpatient procedures. - Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation. - Participate in interdisciplinary support with various healthcare professionals. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; 3 years preferred. - Experience in high-volume settings with a minimum of 300 births per month. - Certification in BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP required. - Preferred skills include circulation to OR, sterile vaginal exams, and immediate newborn care.
