qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65201! Pay Information
$2,150 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience:
Minimum of 2 years required; 1 year in specialty acceptable for
first-time travelers License: Must have licensure in hand at time
of submission Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
Must-Have: - 2 years of experience required - Trauma II experience
required - 50% of weekends and holidays on contract required -
Floating is mandatory Description: The position requires a
Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical Surgical. You will
work in a team environment with a nurse/tech structure for patient
care. The nurse is responsible for assessments and medications,
while techs assist with lab draws, ambulation, and hourly rounding.
A nurse navigator will be assigned to help with admissions and
discharges. There is also a medication nurse available in the
morning. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification is
preferred. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have at
least 1 year of experience. All travelers will be expected to float
to any area as a Patient Observer. This role will involve a patient
ratio of 1:5. Please note that compliance with COVID-19 and flu
vaccination requirements is mandatory, with medical or religious
exemptions accepted only. Travelers can start with pending
certifications and complete necessary courses onsite at no charge.
Two references from a charge nurse or above are required for
