TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina,
27103! Pay Information $1,840 per week About The Position Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in critical care and/or intermediate critical
care License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS,
BCLS, NIH Must-Have: Traveler experience accepted, including
first-time travelers. IV start, telemetry, and titration of cardiac
drips experience required. Description: The position is for a
Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Critical Care Unit. The unit
provides specialized care for patients with potentially
life-threatening health issues. Patient conditions may include
unstable hemodynamics, surgical patients, and neurological
complications. Nursing duties include managing detox/withdrawal
needs and respiratory distress requiring non-invasive support. The
unit is now accepting patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Nurses will
be expected to care for COVID-19 patients. The unit administers
vasopressor drips and titratable medications, including Cardizem,
Nitro, Precedex, Levophed, and others. The nurse-to-patient ratio
is 1:3/4. Floating to a sister unit may be required based on
patient needs. Weekend and holiday shifts will be necessary as per
unit staffing requirements. The unit values high-quality patient
care and strives to improve community health. Candidates must be
comfortable with floating and have relevant experience managing
