Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Titration of Cardiac Drips, Use of Rapid response teams, Feeding Tube and Management, Heparin Protocols, PCA,CVA,
Skills: MS/Tele, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Care of Ventilated patients, Wound Care/Wound Vac
SHIFT: 12HR NIGHTS; All missed shifts should be made up within the same week if possible; if not, time should be added to the end of the contract to make up the missed shift
Weekend Requirement: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
The Intermediate Critical Care Unit is an exciting unit that exists to provide specialized care for patients that include but are not limited to: DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, Stroke and stroke like symptoms
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: The unit functions as a Rapid Response RN
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXSIS, EPIC
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for, this specialty*** Planet Healthcare Job ID #1-2803765. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
